Bicycles are generally classified as road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, BMX bikes, station wagons, reclining bikes, etc. Only mountain bikes are discussed here. At present, there are several well-known brands of mountain bikes in China: GIANT, MERIDA Merida, Universal Bicycle UCC, Trinidad TRNIX and Xidesheng XDS. The mountain bikes of these brands are doing quite well, especially Giant and Merida. There are many well-known brands abroad, just to name a few, such as Trek, Plum Club Bicycle COLNAGO and BMC. Giant and Merida's cars have been used before, and they are really good. The two companies are more close to the people than Merida, and the prices are more affordable and cost-effective. Merida's configuration will be better for cars with the same price. In short, the more expensive cars will be better in performance and weight accessories, and you will get what you pay for. It just depends on how you choose. The quotations of bicycle stores in each place will be different, which will be about two or three hundred yuan.

The purchase of mountain bikes

Before you want a mountain bike, there are several factors you must consider. What kind of mountain bike do you want to play? What is the approximate budget? Do you want to ride a long distance or press the road between cities? You can choose the most suitable mountain bike you need according to your own budget.

Frame: whether a mountain bike is comfortable to ride, light and easy to control, how high strength it can withstand, how long it can be used, whether it can be upgraded, etc., depends on the frame.

Frame can be roughly divided into two types: hard frame and full shock-proof frame.

Hard frame: it is more labor-saving, lighter and cheaper to ride, and a shelf of about 500 is good.

Full shock absorber frame: more comfortable, you don't need to slow down when crossing bumpy mountain roads, but it is slack to ride, which is not suitable for long distance, and the price is higher, especially if you choose an excellent rear shock absorber, the price is comparable to the price of the frame.

Front fork:

The front fork is a high-tech component in mountain bikes, and mountain bikes with hard front forks are rare. Now they are basically front forks with shock absorbers. There are several factories in the world with good front forks, such as Suntour (Santuo), DDN, RockShox, Marzocchi (Mazuqi), Manitou and FOX…… ... Among them, the forks of the first four factories have 600-1000 yuan's popular model forks, while the latter two are rare, and the price is too high. Even the popular forks are close to 2,000 yuan, which is unbearable for new car owners, and it is difficult to play their functions after buying them.

Media type of front fork:

(1) Spring fork: the lowest fork with no damping.

Features: Cheap, 300 yuan can buy a good one.

⑵ Resistance glue: resistance glue is used as the medium, and there is no damping.

Features: It is more than the shortage, but the resistance adhesive will age after about three years, and needs to be replaced.

(3) Oil spring fork: spring is used as rebound medium and oil is used as damping.

Features: the heaviest, but the strongest. Springs are moist to use and sensitive to small vibrations.

(4) Oil-gas fork: air is used as rebound medium and oil is used as damping.

Features: lighter than the oil spring fork, but the firmness is reduced. (It's not that low, ordinary cross-country is enough. ) Once every six months, the garage will provide a special pump for free, or you can buy it separately, with a barometer around 200 yuan. The advantage of using air as a medium is that it is lighter in weight and can protect the rider's wrist in high-speed off-road, but it is not sensitive to small vibrations.

The working sequence of the front fork should be: when encountering an obstacle-the front fork is compressed-to the extreme-it is bounced back to its original length (the speed of rebound is affected by damping)-the work of the bouncing system is over.

Brake system:

The braking system includes brake, brake handle and brake line.

Mountain bikes use two kinds of brakes: [V-brake] and [Disc brake], while the [Suspension brake] of ordinary bicycles is not common.

V-brake: It is very powerful, because it is braked by friction rim, so the rim must be adjusted in place and not easily deformed.

Disc brake: compared with V brake, it is more difficult to lock the tire. When driving at high speed, locking is very dangerous and will lead to side slip. Disc brakes are very expensive, and the better ones are around 1,000 yuan, so V brakes can be bought quite well in 400 yuan.

There are two kinds of disc brakes: hydraulic disc brakes and wire-drawn disc brakes. The hydraulic disc brakes rely on oil to press the brake pads to obtain huge braking force, which is very common in downhill vehicles. Wire-drawn disc brakes rely on the power of fingers to brake, which is actually more than enough for XC.

Transmission system

The transmission system includes a toothed disc, a central shaft, a chain and a flywheel.

Tooth plate: three gears, you know, FSA's is good, it's cheaper and more than 100 yuan to buy a TV, or a lightning-like tooth plate, tens of yuan.

Center axis: There are two kinds of center axis of plum blossom hole and center axis of square hole, with different lengths, which must be purchased according to the tooth plate of plum blossom hole or square hole.

Chain: This is a consumable product. Chain breakage is frequent. If you ride a long distance, you must bring a spare one to avoid hitchhiking on the Sichuan-Tibet road.

Flywheel: You have to choose this. For example, there are 8-speed 24-speed ones and 9-speed 27-speed ones. It has long been a misconception that the more files, the more they are used. In fact, drivers will not use all gears, and only use one gear 80% of the time, but this gear must be the most suitable for the driver's pedaling strength and frequency. It can be seen that the more gears there are in the transmission system, the more accurate the driver will be in choosing the gear that suits him. The 27-speed one has three more gears than the 24-speed one, which gives drivers more choices.

Variable speed system

The variable speed system includes variable speed finger dial, forward dial, backward dial and variable speed line.

Transmission, the three most common brands, one is Shimano (Japan), the other is SRAM, and the third is MAX.

SRAM is one of the originators of variable speed system production, and its design is more rigid and durable than exquisite. Ximano is the only manufacturer that can be compared with SRAM in the mountains, and its high-end products can be called handicrafts. Both of them have occupied the China market for many years, and SRAM is indeed superior in cost performance. For example, the SRAM X-9 transmission system is designed for Shimano-XT, but the price is much cheaper. It should also be noted that Shimano is not compatible with some parts of SRAM (for example, the ratio of SRAM finger cables is 1: 1, while Shimano is 1: 2.5), so it is best not to mix them.

Fingering: There are two kinds, one is scissors transmission, and the other is crank transmission, which comes faster when shifting gears. Some people like scissors transmission, which varies from person to person. Shimano's transmissions are mostly scissors, and SRAM's crank transmission is very famous.

There is also a conjoined manual change, which integrates the fingerboard and the brake handle. This has the advantage of high compatibility and beauty, but the disadvantage is that in case the handle is broken and the fingerboard is not broken, all of them have to be changed together.

Forward dial: those with more money go to XT, and those with less money use alivio. SRAM is very good, more affordable.

Back dial: Personally, I think it is more important than the front dial. I suggest that you install a guy who is one grade higher than the front dial. For example, DEORLX, DEORXT series and SRAMX-7 of Shimano are durable. If you have less money, pretend to be Shimano Alivio.

Speed change line: same as brake line.

In fact, I believe most people don't care about so many parameters, and it's annoying to watch them. To be honest, I'm also annoyed. In fact, you don't have to worry about many things about parameters. After playing for a long time in the future, you will naturally know something. When buying a car, you just need to look at the following parts: whether the frame is light and strong, whether the speed change is smooth and smooth, and whether the brakes are stopped with the pinch. These are enough, and generally there will be no big problems.
